Julia Hayball is a radio producer, journalist and media trainer with more than 25 years’ experience in the media industry. She started her career at the BBC World Service as a studio manager and then went on to work as a producer for BBC Radio 2 for 10 years.
As a freelance producer and journalist, Julia's made programmes and documentaries for many national radio stations, including BBC Radios 2,3,4, 5Live and the World Service. She has also worked for BBC Training coaching new BBC employees, training German naval officers with the Ministry of Defence and groups of young offenders with HM Prison Service.
Julia continues to make programmes for Radio 3 & 4 and is a Senior Lecturer in Radio at the University of Gloucestershire. Julia is a director of Mentor Media Training
